The Palace

The Museum is located in a 19th-century palace, where you can visit, among others, permanent and temporary exhibitions on Kashubian literature and music. At the Palace, there is Książnica, that is the prof. Gerard Labuda Library, where the book collection of this eminent historian (with over 26 thousand publications!) is compiled and made available. Moreover, the exhibition in the Library presents the history of the Kashubians in a modern way. The rich collection of Kashubian and Pomeranian magazines and books can also be perused in the Literature and Press Department, located in the building at ul. Wałowa in Wejherowo.

In addition, the Museum supports many initiatives aimed at researching, protecting and developing Kashubian culture.
