Support

The prototype of the game has been made “after hours” for over a year, but it was the financial support that allowed us to create a number of beautiful illustrations for the game, purchase a number of graphic and audio materials and start advanced programming work by expanding the basic mechanics of the game with a number of interesting solutions. The project was co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state special-purpose fund.

The beginnings

The prototype of the game under development initially had no plot or content. The game mechanics that have an impact on the gameplay of the game were developed first. As soon as there was a possibility for the funding to be obtained from the Polish Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport, we immediately contacted the Museum of Kashubian and Pomeranian Literature and Music in Wejherowo, asking for cooperation. The idea of creating the main plot of the game was met with great enthusiasm, based on the Kashubian mythology and demonology that is not very well known in the world.

Bestiary

From the beginning, the assumption was to create a magical fantasy world in which – by playing the role of a group of daredevils – the player will be able to explore a magical land. This is how the idea was born to create a Kashubian Bestiary based on the ancient beliefs of our ancestors. By playing the role of the heroes of the game, traversing the land of the Magical Kashubia, defeating beasts, monsters, ghosts and demons, the players will unlock new books of the bestiary, which will expand knowledge about regional beliefs.
